Care Instructions

Your Marias Nails press-on nails are designed to be durable and long-lasting. Follow these care instructions to get the most out of your beautiful new nails.

Before Application

  1. Prepare your natural nails: Gently push back cuticles, lightly buff the surface of your natural nails, and clean with alcohol to remove oils.
  2. Find your size: Match each press-on nail to your natural nail bed. The press-on should cover your entire nail without extending over the sides.
  3. Organize your nails: Arrange the press-ons in order of application to make the process smoother.

Application

  1. Apply adhesive: Place a small drop of nail glue on your natural nail, focusing on the center.
  2. Press and hold: Place the press-on nail at a slight angle, starting at your cuticle, then press down firmly for 30 seconds.
  3. Repeat: Continue this process for all nails, working from pinky to thumb.

Daily Care

  • Avoid excessive water exposure: While your press-on nails are water-resistant, prolonged exposure to water can weaken the adhesive. Wear gloves when washing dishes or cleaning.
  • Be gentle: Avoid using your nails as tools for opening cans, scratching labels, etc.
  • Apply cuticle oil: Keep your cuticles moisturized by applying cuticle oil daily.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals: Acetone and other harsh chemicals can damage the finish of your press-on nails.

Removal

  1. Soak: Fill a small bowl with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Soak your nails for 10-15 minutes to loosen the adhesive.
  2. Gently lift: Using a wooden cuticle stick, gently lift the press-on nail from the side. Never force removal as this can damage your natural nail.
  3. Oil and moisturize: After removal, apply cuticle oil and hand cream to restore moisture to your natural nails.

Reusing Your Press-On Nails

Marias Nails press-ons are designed to be reusable with proper care. After removal, clean any adhesive residue from the underside of the press-on using a wooden cuticle stick. Store them in their original packaging or a clean, dry container until you're ready to wear them again.
